The motor features a variable speed range of 8,000 to 21,000 rpm (no-load), soft-start, and Constant Response circuitry that maintains speed under load. The plunge mechanism features dual plunge post bearings for smooth and accurate plunging action. The router's one-piece armature shaft provides accuracy and long bit shank capacity. The 1619EVS also has the Bosch-exclusive precision centering design for centering optional templet guides. Bit changing is easy thanks to the convenient front spindle lock.
